Izmir Wildlife Park is situated approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Kusadasi, in Sasali, a village within the Karsiyaka province. This park has grown to become one of the region's most popular attractions. Spanning an impressive 425,000 square meters, it houses over 1,200 animals representing more than 120 species. As the collection of animals continues to grow, efforts are being made to enhance both visitor satisfaction and the educational experiences of children.

The animals live in spacious enclosures, and large bilingual signs in Turkish and English provide visitors with information about each species' characteristics, eating habits, and conservation status. Many residents of the park belong to species listed as endangered, reflecting the park's role in wildlife preservation.

One of the park’s highlights is a baby Asian elephant that has captured the hearts of visitors. Her name, chosen by the local community, is "Izmir," and she stands as a beloved symbol of the wildlife park.
